Biblical Thinking: My Times Are In His Hands
The path of Christian faith is marked with periods of stress, difficulty, pain and disappointment but God is ultimately provident, as examined by Alistair Begg in his message “My Times Are In His Hands”. This teaching, followed by discussion, will be the focus of our upcoming Biblical Thinking program as part of our First Wednesdays series. Make plans now to join us on February 5 at 6:30 pm in the Family Room at the Hillsboro Village Campus. Childcare is available by RSVP. Also, as a part of First Wednesdays, TVC Kids Worship Arts will be hosting Create on February 5 at 6 pm in Miss Jamie’s Classroom (Room 105). This will be a fun-filled evening for K-5th graders to learn more about God creating all things and honoring Him through the arts. Learn more and RSVP at events.thevillagechapel.com.
Vespers – New Quarterly Evening Service
Each week at TVC we gather to sing, pray and hear the Word taught. In doing so, we remind one another of the good news of Christ! Our desire is that our worship at TVC is both God-directed and Christ-centered. Join us for our new quarterly Vespers service on Sunday, February 9 at 6 pm in the Chapel at our Hillsboro Village Campus. This is a special gathering in the round to sing together and celebrate the Lord’s Supper as we focus on worshipping our glorious Creator. Reserve childcare at events.thevillagechapel.com.

We’ll gather together in Room 105 at the Hillsboro Village Campus February 8 at 9 am for a brief time of prayer before getting to work. Register at missions.thevillagechapel.com.

When difficult and dark seasons happen in our lives, it’s as important as ever to be surrounded by fellow believers to walk alongside in the valleys. Our new “Out of the Darkness, Into the Light” Sunday School class is a six-week intensive study intended for believers who are going through a season of disconnectedness from God or dealing with depression and anxiety. This class, beginning February 23, will foster discussion and prayer as a community of fellow sojourners, with the prayers that the Holy Spirit will be at work to call us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. No registration required.
