PRAYER:
WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US IN PRAYER EACH WEEK FOR THESE PARTICULAR AREAS:

MINISTRY FOCUS: Sunday Services

NASHVILLE VOCATION: Mental Health Professionals

MISSIONS FOCUS:  Men of Valor’s mission is to win men in prison to Jesus Christ and disciple them. Their purpose is to equip them to re-enter society as men of integrity – becoming givers to the community rather than takers.  Knowing that the traditional warehousing of incarcerated individuals is ineffective, Men of Valor (MOV) operates an innovative form of pre-release programming and aftercare services. More than 700 men are served in four area prisons and one local jail. Approximately 80 men a year receive support and accountability through transitional living and aftercare services for up to one year after their release. Men who complete our Christ-centered program have a recidivism rate of less than 9% – as opposed to the national rate of 70%.
