Missions Focus:
The Hands and Feet Project, founded in 2004, provides family-style, residential care and sustainable solutions that fight against Haiti’s orphan crisis. Hands and Feet Project works hand-in-hand with Haiti’s Child Social Services to provide holistic residential and community-based care for Haiti’s most vulnerable children. Additionally, Hands and Feet Project strives to keep families together by creating dignified, sustainable jobs and by providing daycare and other services for families in need. Currently, Hands and Feet Project is caring for over 110 children in southern Haiti. Financial support from TVC has recently helped to cover a shortfall in monthly childcare costs, including caregiver salaries, food, tuition and tutors, emotional care support, pastoral care, utilities, and medical needs.
