Calling all potential Home Group leaders (and hosts)! If you’re interested in finding out more about what’s involved in leading a Home Group for TVC, make plans now to attend an informational meeting on Sunday, May 6, at 12:45 pm in the Living Room at TVC Main. Lunch and childcare will be provided, so please RSVP at events.thevillagechapel.com so we can plan.

Attending does not commit you, but we will answer questions about leading or hosting a home group this fall. New leaders and hosts will need to undergo a five-week training over the summer.

Home Groups are only available because people like you step up to lead them, and they are an important part of the ministry here at TVC, especially as our numbers increase and we are spread out over two campuses. Each Home Group has its own distinct flavor, which is why TVC doesn’t assign you to a group based on your location, age or marital status. Instead, we want you to find the group that best fits you.

These smaller bi-weekly or weekly meetings are where TVCers find deeper community and get connected in a way that just isn’t possible during our much larger Sunday worship services. These small groups do life together, providing a solid support network for each other. Some Home Groups also serve together in a Sunday service, through outreach projects or at church-wide events.

If you think you might be interested in leading but are unable to attend the meeting, email [email protected].
