Stand On Sunday evening, January 28, at 6 pm in the Chapel at TVC Main we’ll host the theatrical performance Stand, followed by a thoughtful panel discussion featuring Charles Strobel who started Room in the Inn (as well as other panelists), exploring issues of homelessness and how we respond to the needy among us. Reserve childcare and watch a trailer for Stand at events.thevillagechapel.com.

Room in the Inn This is a great opportunity to show God’s love to some of Nashville’s homeless population. On February 4, Super Bowl Sunday, we’ll begin gathering in shifts at First Baptist Church downtown beginning at 4:15 pm to serve dinner and snacks, watch the big game, launder clothes, prepare breakfast Monday morning and send this group of homeless men off with sack lunches. Sign up to either VOLUNTEER or PROVIDE FOOD at events.thevillagechapel.com.

Evening of Worship & Prayer Join us February 11, at 6 pm in the Chapel at TVC Main. This quarterly event brings together TVCers from across all Sunday services and both campuses for worship, communion and prayer, this time with a focus on the unchanging nature of God and faithfulness to his people. Childcare is available for Nursery and Preschool at childcare.thevillagechapel.com. Then stick around at 7 pm for a potluck coffee and cake reception to celebrate the 17th anniversary of The Village Chapel. The reception is a family event, and childcare will NOT be provided for this portion of the evening. Sign up at events.thevillagechapel.com to bring your favorite cake or cupcakes to share.
