Don’t wait to sign up for our annual hosting or Room In the Inn, a great opportunity for you to show God’s love to Nashville’s homeless population. On February 4, Super Bowl Sunday, we’ll gather in shifts at First Baptist Church downtown beginning at 4:15 pm to serve dinner and snacks, watch the big game, launder clothes, prepare breakfast Monday morning and send this group of homeless men off with sack lunches.

You can help in a variety of ways. You may want to host or serve during the event, taking a dinner, snack, laundry or overnight shift, or by preparing or purchasing dinner, snacks, breakfast or sack lunches beforehand. It takes a big crew to pull this off, and it’s a unique opportunity to meet a very practical need.

For those not familiar with the program, Room In the Inn provides an opportunity for churches throughout Nashville to get involved in meeting a very real need right here at our doorstep. In an average year, in partnership with more than 170 local congregations, Room In the Inn provides more than 30,000 beds during the course of the winter to homeless individuals in need of shelter.
